The Lenco LS-50LED record player comes with various perks, including built-in speakers, the option to tweak the tracking force, and a USB port for connecting it to your computer to digitise records. What stands out the most, however, is the LED-illuminated platter, the colour of which can be adjusted or set to change depending on the beat of the music. The LS-50LEDBK supports three different playback speeds and, round the back, Lenco have fitted a pair of RCA ports for hooking up external speakers. This eye-catching record player comes complete with a removable dust cover.

Leuk, maar jammer genoeg niet om muziek op te nemen. Door het ontbreken van aarding is er, vooral bij stiltes duidelijk de bekende brom hoorbaar. Verder niets dan lof, ziet er gelikt uit, LED-effecten zijn erg leuk. Draait zuivere rondjes 33,45 en ook 78rpm, waarvoor ik hem eigenlijk had gekocht: mijn oude 78rpm shellac-platen klinken geweldig. Pitch is instelbaar, maar wel omslachtig via de onderzijde, had makkelijker gekund met een regelknopje bovenop.

Deze nu een week in bezit en het bevalt super. Goede geluidoutput, makkelijk aan te sluiten en luisteren maar. Een paar minpuntjes, het was even uitzoeken hoe het met de naald precies werkt maar uit de doos zit deze helemaal terug geklapt en achter de vergrendeling, deze kun je bij gebruik voorbij deze vergrendeling halen en dan heb je voldoende ruimte voor het omhoog en omlaag laten gaan van de naald. Ik mis een beetje een audio bevestiging dat de plaat op het eind is en de autostop is ingeschakeld. De LED verlichting is ook een leuke toevoeging welke statisch als op de beat mee kan gaan. Zeker tevreden met deze koop.
